We are looking for Litigation Legal Assistant in Miami, FL!

$75,000-$80,000

Direct hire, on site role

DUTIES:
Candidates will be considered only with at least 5+ years working in a law firm as a Litigation legal assistant
Strong technical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are required
This position requires keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight time constraints. Responsible for case management of active files, including reviewing documents for accuracy, scheduling and docketing requests, compiling documents for preparation of analyses, and electronic files

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of court filing and scheduling procedures
Thorough knowledge of general office practices, procedures, and business English
Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize workload, and adjust to changing priorities as needed
Ability to deal effectively with candidates, attorneys’ and co-workers
Typing 70 words per minute

QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in MS Office applications
Federal and State court electronic filing, knowledge of Imanage/FileSite, a plus
5 plus years of previous law firm experience in Litigation
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Excellent written and verbal skills, business English spelling and grammar
Excellent time management and organization skills
Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize workload, and adjust to changing priorities
Friendly, cooperative manner and good team spirit
Flexibility to undertake a variety of assignments.
