Are you a skilled legal assistant with a passion for litigation and a commitment to excellence? Our mid-sized Orlando law firm with a national presence is seeking an experienced professional to join our dynamic trial team. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with at least 4 years of civil litigation defense experience who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing exceptional support to attorneys and clients alike. This position provides administrative and secretarial support to three attorneys and their legal teams, offering a critical role in ensuring the success of our litigation practice.

• Consumer Products
• Premises Liability
• Medical Devices
• Industrial Equipment and Materials Handling
• General Commercial Litigation
• High Risk and Excess Exposure Cases

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• E-filing in State and/or Federal Court
• Preparing and submitting service emails of pleadings
• Organizing and maintaining the firm’s electronic files
• Coordinating and scheduling meetings, depositions, court appearances, and travel
• Drafting correspondence and legal documents
• Assisting attorneys with time and billing, when needed
• Assisting attorneys in preparing for depositions and hearings
• Working independently to prioritize assignments
• Requesting reimbursement for travel and filing related expenses
• Assisting with the preparation of trial exhibits
• Answering calls from clients, witnesses, and vendors
