Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join a prestigious law firm in Tallahassee, FL. This high-profile role supports a former Florida Supreme Court Justice and the Office Managing Partner, providing essential litigation support in a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of court rules, procedures, and deadlines across various jurisdictions. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Research and interpret court rules and judge-specific procedures
Prepare and file legal documents with state and federal courts
Manage case calendars, deadlines, and appointments
Schedule hearings, court reporters, and related litigation logistics
Upload and manage documents for hearings and case records
Maintain and update the case status database
Communicate effectively with internal and external legal professionals

Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a litigation legal assistant or legal secretary role
Familiarity with court filing systems and litigation support tools
Proven ability to manage complex schedules and prioritize tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
