Litigation Attorney (Civil – Plaintiff Side)

Maitland, FL 32751 - Primarily In-Office | Flexibility After 6–12 Months

$80,000 – $110,000 (DOE)

A prestigious Maitland law firm is seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. This role focuses heavily on civil litigation, with a substantial portion of cases on the plaintiff side. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing abilities, excellent case management skills, and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients.

This is an in-office position offering long-term growth, a supportive culture, and a collaborative legal environment.

What You’ll Do

Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed legal documents
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation filings
Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, and trials
Negotiate settlements to achieve favorable outcomes
Manage cases from inception through resolution
Maintain organized and accurate case files
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive case strategy
Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients
Stay current on relevant legal developments

What We’re Looking For

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar
Proven experience in civil litigation (plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred)
Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of Community Association Law is preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $80,000 – $110,000, depending on experience
401(k) with firm match after one year of service

Flexibility for hybrid schedule after 6 months to 1 year
