Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Estimator for Lighting Quotations to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for lighting projects. This role involves analyzing project specifications, collaborating with sales and design teams, and ensuring that all quotations meet the company’s standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare Detailed Estimates: Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for lighting projects.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with sales, design, and procurement teams to gather necessary information and ensure accurate quotations.
• Supplier and Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and availability of materials and products.
• Review and Analyze Data: Review bid specifications, drawings, and other project documents to identify the scope of work and required materials.
• Strategic Planning: Perform cost analysis and strategic assessment for projects to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
• Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of all estimates, including costs, specifications, and other relevant information.
• Client Interaction: Interface with clients to clarify project requirements and address any concerns regarding quotations.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, product developments, and market conditions to provide the most accurate and competitive estimates.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Experience: Experience in estimating within the construction industry or a related field.
Education: High School degree minimum. College degree is preferred.
Proficiency in estimating software, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
