Join Our Team as a VA & FHA Mortgage Expert

We are seeking a motivated, licensed In-House Mortgage Loan Officer with strong expertise in VA and FHA loan programs to help homebuyers navigate the financing process with confidence. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about serving veterans, active-duty military, first-time homebuyers, and underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities:
Originate residential mortgage loans with a focus on VA, FHA, and government-backed loan products
Educate borrowers on loan options, qualification guidelines, and home financing strategies
Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, veterans organizations, and referral partners
Guide clients through the full mortgage process from application to closing
Review credit, income, and financial documents to structure appropriate loan solutions
Ensure compliance with federal, state, FHA, VA, and company lending regulations
Maintain high levels of customer service and communication throughout the loan lifecycle
Meet or exceed monthly production goals
Qualifications:
Active NMLS License required
Minimum 2+ years of mortgage lending experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of VA and FHA underwriting guidelines
Proven ability to self-source and convert leads
Excellent communication, sales, and relationship-building skills
Experience with LOS, CRM systems, and mortgage technology platforms
Detail-oriented with strong compliance awareness
Preferred:
Experience working with military buyers, veterans, and first-time homebuyers
Existing referral network
Bilingual skills are a plus
