Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Health and Life Advisor for a contract opportunity supporting existing Individual Medical Plan members in a fully remote environment. This role is ideal for a currently licensed insurance professional who enjoys consultative conversations, member retention, plan education, and helping customers make informed healthcare coverage decisions.
As a Licensed Health and Life Advisor, you will focus on retaining current members by explaining renewal options, addressing rate increase concerns, recommending appropriate alternatives, and supporting a positive member experience. This opportunity offers a structured, member-focused setting with clear processes, collaboration with underwriting partners, and meaningful work that directly impacts customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities
- Re-sell Individual Medical plans to existing members through consultative retention conversations.
- Assist members during rate increases, renewal periods, and plan review discussions.
- Recommend alternative medical plan options based on member needs and eligibility.
- Conduct outbound retention calls, follow-up communications, and cancellation prevention outreach.
- Partner with Underwriting to support enrollment options and resolve member coverage questions.
- Document interactions accurately while navigating multiple systems and screens.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Las Vegas, NV.
- Work arrangement: Fully remote position.
- Candidates must live in Las Vegas, NV to be considered.
- Candidates must supply their own devices and have hard-wired internet access.
- Minimum 100 Mbps high-speed internet required.
- Candidates must be available to work scheduled shifts within operating hours of 5:00 am to 6:00 pm PST, Monday through Friday.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support retention of existing Individual Medical Plan members.
- Educate members on renewal options, rate changes, and alternative plan selections.
- Conduct outbound calls and follow-up communications to reduce member attrition.
- Collaborate with Underwriting to help facilitate enrollment and coverage options.
- Active Resident Health and Life Insurance License in Las Vegas, NV is required.
- 3 to 5 years of Health and Life insurance experience in sales, member services, customer service, or a call center environment.
- Strong understanding of individual medical insurance plans, renewals, retention, and member support.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage calls, documentation, and multiple systems simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal communication, listening, and customer service skills.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Windows 11 and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and screens at the same time.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Must be able to work remotely with reliable hard-wired internet and personally supplied equipment.
- Must be available to work all scheduled shifts within the stated operating hours.
Preferred Qualifications Las Vegas NV residents
- Previous experience with individual medical plan retention, renewals, or cancellation prevention.
- Experience conducting outbound member outreach in a healthcare insurance or managed care environment.
- Ability to explain plan changes, rate increases, and coverage options clearly and professionally.
