Overview
Are you a licensed, people-focused professional with a passion for helping others make confident decisions about their health and financial security? We’re looking for a Licensed Health & Life Insurance Consultant to join our retail center team. In this role, you’ll support customers with health, wellness, and income protection solutions while helping achieve sales, retention, and community engagement goals.
What You’ll Do
You’ll deliver a consultative, customer-first experience by identifying needs and aligning them with the right insurance products. Through in-center services and community outreach, you’ll help drive enrollment and renewals while expanding awareness of our offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
Deliver expert consultations on health, life, and supplemental insurance products
Conduct plan comparisons and present tailored solutions to individuals and families
Handle follow-ups, outbound calls, and campaigns to meet enrollment and retention targets
Support educational meetings and center-based enrollment efforts
Promote additional member services and cross-sell when appropriate
Community Engagement & Business Development
Build partnerships and represent the brand at local events
Execute a personal plan to grow presence in the surrounding community
Travel locally for on-site enrollments and outreach events
Center Operations
Welcome customers and assess their insurance needs
Support center tours, seminars, and educational activities
Track visitor interactions and maintain accurate service records
Schedule Details
Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
Shifts vary weekly and will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
Shifts are assigned based on business needs — candidates cannot select their shifts
No time off will be granted during training or OEP (Open Enrollment Period)
Compensation
Non-Bilingual (English only): $25.75/hour
Bilingual (Spanish/English): $26.75/hour
Start Date
Training begins: August 18, 2025
Requirements
Active 2-15 (Health, Life & Annuities) or 2-40 (Health-only) license
High school diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s a plus)
1+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or healthcare preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and web-based tools
Flexible availability for rotating shifts
Goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet sales targets
Public speaking and local networking experience a plus
