We are seeking a friendly and reliable Library Assistant to join our team in a very part-time role. This position offers approximately 38 hours over a two-week period, with a mix of morning and afternoon shifts.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to patrons.
Assist with library circulation tasks, including check-in/check-out of materials.
Handle cashiering duties such as processing payments and fees.
Support staff with general library operations as needed.
Requirements:
Strong customer service skills with a positive, helpful attitude.
Previous cashiering or point-of-sale experience.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Flexible availability for both morning and afternoon shifts.
Schedule:
Very part-time, approximately 38 hours per two-week pay period.
Mix of morning and afternoon shifts.
