This role provides direct support to legal and government affairs staff through scheduling, database management, billing, and lobby day coordination. We're seeking a proactive Administrative Assistant to support the Government Affairs team with client communications, legislative coordination, and operations.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary point of contact for clients and legislative offices
Manage meeting schedules, calendars, and lobby day logistics
Perform database entry, maintenance, time tracking, and billing
Provide direct administrative support to government affairs staff
Handle general office operations and special projects as needed

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams)
Legislative process knowledge or experience with NYS Legislature, lobbying, law firms, or membership organizations preferred
Associate degree or higher, or 2+ years related administrative experience
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, time management, and self-starter mindset
Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities
Collaborative team player comfortable in fast-paced settings

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5:30 PM (40 hours/week)
