Commercial Real Estate & Investment company located in New York, NY is looking to hire a Legal & Compliance Manager. I

IDEALLY - SOMEONE WHO COMES OUT OF HOSPITALITY OR PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IS PREFERRED.

This position is a Direct Hire opportunity!
Five days onsite/ in office •Location: New York
Salary Range $121k- $150k


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

CONTRACT MANAGEMENT -
Review, draft, and maintain all business contracts, including sales, procurement, service agreements, and HR contracts. Ensure contracts are legally sound, compliant with company policies, and mitigate potential risks. Maintain an organized and up-to-date contract repository.

COMPLIANCE AND LEGAL ADVISORY -
Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Provide timely legal advice on contractual and regulatory matters. Handle legal disputes and claims. Manage trademark registration, renewal processes, and maintain relevant trademark record. Manage insurance, license and permits related matters of the business. Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies when necessary.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in law or legal studies; paralegal certifications or equivalent. Proven experience (3+ years) in similar role, preferably within catering/hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of contract law, employment law, intellectual property, and compliance regulations. Familiar with New York state and federal legal procedure. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
