Job Summary
A busy and growing legal office in Shreveport, LA is seeking a dependable Legal Support Clerk for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an organized administrative professional with 1-2 years of experience who enjoys supporting legal teams, managing case information, tracking important deadlines, and keeping documentation accurate and current.
The Legal Support Clerk will work in a fast-paced, professional office environment where reliability, confidentiality, accuracy, and teamwork are highly valued. Key Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic client files, case documents, records, and supporting materials.
- Request, track, and follow up on medical records, documentation, and missing case information.
- Schedule and calendar court dates, appointments, deadlines, and other time-sensitive items.
- Prepare correspondence and legal-related documents using Microsoft Word.
- Enter, update, and manage case information in databases, spreadsheets, and office systems.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and office staff while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Compensation and Benefits
- $16.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Annual equivalent of $33,280-$37,440.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Monday-Friday schedule.
