Key Responsibilities

- Provide direct legal secretarial and administrative support to one workers' compensation attorney.
- Manage case files, maintain organized records, and assist with legal filing and document preparation.
- Handle calendaring, scheduling, deadlines, reminders, and follow-up tasks related to workers' compensation matters.
- Prepare, send, and manage professional email correspondence and confidential legal information.
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to support daily legal office operations.
- Prioritize tasks independently while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and efficient case workflow.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support one workers' compensation attorney with legal secretarial and administrative tasks.
- Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, correspondence, and document preparation.
- Maintain accurate records and support efficient workers' compensation case workflow.

- 1-2 years of legal secretarial, legal administrative, or related office support experience.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation procedures and legal office processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and accuracy.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a busy office setting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience supporting a workers' compensation attorney.
- Experience with legal calendaring, case file management, and document preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to follow-up and deadline tracking.
