Legal Assistant – Experienced in Legal Office Support
Location: Shreveport, LA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (One-hour lunch: 12–1 PM)
Pay: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Legal Assistant with at least 3 years of experience in a legal office setting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a small, professional environment and takes pride in accuracy and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and edit legal documents and correspondence
Prepare and answer interrogatories
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sending certified mail
Organize and maintain case files and legal records
Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff
Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all tasks
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a legal office role
Strong knowledge of legal terminology and document preparation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to manage mail processes, including certified mail
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Dependable, professional, and able to work independently
