We are seeking a skilled Litigation Secretary with at least 2 years of experience in a law firm specializing in Litigation and Labor & Employment. This role supports attorneys and paralegals with complex legal administrative tasks and requires strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and edit legal documents, including pleadings and discovery responses
Prepare Tables of Contents and Authorities
Manage court filings in state, federal, and appellate courts
Schedule depositions, court reporters, and maintain attorney calendars
Assist with trial prep, hearing binders, and document production
Handle administrative tasks: scanning, copying, timesheets, client contact
Required Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office, iManage, Best Authority, Adobe, LawTime
Strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Familiarity with court filing rules and deadlines
