Legal Assistant

Location: Hato Rey
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Salary: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking a bilingual Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the legal field, including working with government agencies and providing administrative support to attorneys. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage legal files and maintain organized records and documentation.

Draft and prepare correspondence, minutes, and basic legal documents.

Coordinate appointments, meetings, and attorney calendars.

Prepare reports and enter data into internal systems.

Provide support to multiple attorneys on a rotating basis.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree completed.

Fully bilingual (English and Spanish).

Experience in the legal field and with government agencies.

Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in administrative roles within the legal sector.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.

Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.

Proactive, responsible, and eager to learn new tasks.

Availability Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
