Downtown Law Firm seeking a transactional legal secretary with a minimum of 3 5 years of experience in probate administration, estate planning and trust administration, and transactional work.
Responsibilities and skills include:
• preparing, drafting, and filing probate documents,
• obtaining relevant information from outside agencies and sources,
• providing a wide array of communication and legal document support;
• working under the supervision of attorneys and communicating with firm personnel, clients, vendors and other third parties;
• competency in software applications, including word processing, spreadsheet and database management, timekeeping and forms programs;
• excellent written and oral communication skills;
• strong attention to detail and time management, as well as good judgment, discretion, and organizational skills; and well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Current notary license preferred but not required.
