Remote. MUST LIVE IN THE GREATER SF BAY AREA. We are seeking a detail-oriented Investigative Researcher to support attorneys and investigators by conducting thorough research on case-specific issues and broader topics. This role involves gathering information from various sources such as national archives, depositions, trial transcripts, contracts, blueprints, and advertisements to enrich and maintain our proprietary document and product identification databases. Responsibilities include summarizing legal documents, creating and updating database records, assisting with bankruptcy claims research, and conducting off-site document retrieval and field research. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, an inquisitive nature, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and knowledge of legal liability related to asbestos cases. A bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of related research or investigative experience are preferred, along with proficiency in Windows, LexisNexis, and relevant database systems.
