Full-time legal intake coordinator with experience in client intake and case screening. First point of contact the client has with the firm. An important prerequisite for this position is the ability to demonstrate compassion and understanding to potential clients.
· Answer high volume calls and online intakes
· Promptly contact and/or follow up with all potential clients via phone and email
· Obtain pertinent information from potential clients by asking them a series of questions
professionally and respectfully
· Establish a relationship and rapport with potential clients by, demonstrating empathy
and understanding
· Add and update pertinent information into the firm’s Lead Docket and client
management systems
· Assist attorneys with administrative tasks as it relates to opening new cases, declining
cases, and maintaining the firm’s database
Qualifications
· Prior experience handling high volume calls in a law firm
· Ability to handle potential client calls with care and empathy
· Ability to remain calm with disrespectful or aggressive callers
· Extremely organized and detail-oriented
· Excellent customer service and directed listening skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Resourceful and motivated to work in fast-paced environment
