Immediate need for a Discovery Clerk/Legal Aide. In this position, you will prepare written responses to civil pre-trial discovery for personal injury cases. Prepare written evaluations with recommendations to supervising attorney and partners based on research of the case and knowledge of the defendant. Read through volumes of deposition testimony and various other documents to obtain and analyze relevant information needed for discovery responses. Candidate will have a Bachelor's or AA Degree (required) and experience in the legal field. Computer proficiency and word processing skills required; Type 45+ wpm, experience using WordPerfect a plus. Employees must be fully vaccinated. The position can be remote, but need to live in the SF Bay area and come in to Novato the first day for training.
