A well-established personal injury law firm located in downtown is seeking a skilled and professional Legal Data Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in analyzing, managing, and organizing complex legal datasets, contracts, and case information to support litigation, compliance, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze legal data, case law, and contracts to identify trends and insights. Create reports and dashboards to visualize data for attorneys.
Case Support & eDiscovery: Assist in the identification, preservation, and collection of data for legal requests. Manage and index electronic documents, including scanning and formatting.
Data Management & Security: Maintain data integrity within legal databases, case management systems, and billing platforms. Handle sensitive information according to data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA).
Process Improvement: Automate repetitive data tasks and streamline workflows.
Technical Support: Provide technical assistance for legal technology tools and file sharing platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Data Analytics, Information Management, or related field.
Experience: Previous experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or with eDiscovery tools.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint), database management, and legal research platforms. Knowledge of AI/ML tools in the legal space is increasingly valued.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data and identify patterns.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings to legal teams.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and review.
