Billing Specialist (Legal) – Direct Hire

We’re seeking an experienced Billing Specialist with a legal background to join a fast-paced accounting team supporting attorneys and finance leadership. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end legal billing, electronic invoicing, and month-end reporting with accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, revise, and finalize attorney billings and client invoices
Manage electronic billing (LEDES formats, submissions, appeals, and rejections)
Coordinate month-end billing, reports, and accruals
Oversee attorney timesheets, disbursements, retainers, and write-offs
Maintain billing systems and client/attorney records
Partner closely with attorney's, Accounting Manager, and Finance team

Requirements:
Legal billing experience required
Strong e-billing and billing compliance knowledge
Proficiency in Excel and Word
Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a legal environment
