We are seeking an experienced Legal Billing Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring seamless client billing. The ideal Legal Billing Coordinator is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage the full billing cycle with accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced legal environment.
As a Legal Billing Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing monthly billing for assigned attorneys, reviewing and editing pre-bills for accuracy, and generating finalized invoices in compliance with client guidelines and matter-specific instructions. You will also manage write-offs, maintain accurate client and matter rates, assist with billing inquiries, and participate in departmental projects.
The successful Legal Billing Coordinator will demonstrate strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Proficiency in legal billing software (Aderant preferred), experience with eBilling platforms, and at least five years of legal billing experience—preferably within an Am Law 200/NLJ 350 firm—are required.
