Location: Orlando, FL 32801
Position: Legal Billing Coordinator
Salary Range: $50,000–$65,000 (based on experience)
Hybrid Schedule: 1 day/week remote (post-training)
Law Firm Experience Required
As a Billing Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and executing attorney billing and supporting various accounting and bookkeeping functions. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of billing/accounting experience in a law firm, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Experience:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Familiarity with 3E billing software
Experience with electronic billing platforms such as TyMetrix, CounselLink, Tracker, or Datacert
Key Responsibilities:
Review and edit pre-bills per attorney/staff requests
Apply retainer funds and process write-offs
Prepare and submit complex client bills (split billing, discounts, etc.)
Generate and distribute final invoices and monthly billing reports
Communicate with attorneys and clients regarding billing matters
Maintain confidentiality of all firm and client matters
Assist with special projects and legal inquiries when needed
