A well-established plaintiff litigation firm in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant - Plaintiff PI for a full-time, direct hire opportunity supporting a busy personal injury practice. Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys throughout pre-suit and litigation phases of plaintiff personal injury and medical malpractice matters.
- Prepare pleadings, discovery, correspondence, settlement documents, legal filings, and trial preparation materials.
- Coordinate client communication, medical records, medical bills, depositions, expert scheduling, and case deadlines.
- Organize and maintain case files while managing multiple priorities in a high-volume litigation environment.
- Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal team members.
- Assist with discovery responses, medical chronologies, damages documentation, and preparation for hearings, mediations, and trial.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support active plaintiff personal injury case files from intake and pre-suit through litigation and trial preparation.
- Prepare and manage pleadings, discovery, correspondence, settlement documents, medical records, and legal filings.
- Coordinate deadlines, client communication, depositions, expert scheduling, damages documentation, and trial preparation.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure accurate, timely completion of legal assistant tasks.
- 5+ years of Legal Assistant experience required.
- Personal Injury experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of Florida personal injury litigation procedures, legal documents, and case management workflows.
- Experience supporting both pre-suit and litigation matters is highly valued.
- Ability to manage a busy desk with minimal supervision in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Professional demeanor with strong client service skills.
- Stable employment history with demonstrated longevity in previous roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical Malpractice experience strongly preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
- Filevine experience is a plus.
