Litigation Legal Assistant
Salary: 70,000 to 75,000
A busy law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support multiple attorneys. This role is fully in-office with no remote or hybrid options. Candidates must have Florida litigation experience. Paralegals will not be considered.
Responsibilities
• Support attorneys with daily litigation administrative tasks
• Prepare, edit, and proofread pleadings and legal documents
• File documents in State and Federal courts and follow all court rules
• Manage calendars, schedule hearings, and track deadlines
• Assist with billing, narratives, edits, and expense tracking
• Open new matters, coordinate conflicts checks, and handle case management
• Maintain organized electronic and paper files
• Answer calls, manage email, and handle incoming and outgoing mail
• Assist with client appointments and occasional attorney business development events
Requirements
• Three to five years of law firm experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant
• Florida Federal and State court filing experience required
• Ability to support multiple attorneys
• Strong communication, organization, and deadline management skills
• Proficiency with legal software and law firm administrative systems
• Fully able to work on-site Monday through Friday
