A professional downtown San Diego law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant with DocuSign experience for an opportunity supporting client communication, case coordination, and legal administrative operations. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare client correspondence according to established communication plans and maintain regular client follow-up.
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, including proactive communication and responding to inquiries.
- Gather, document, and update vital case details accurately in client records and internal systems.
- Provide telephonic client support while troubleshooting and resolving client questions, issues, or concerns.
- Perform data entry and maintain organized, accurate case and client information.
- Support multiple cases simultaneously while prioritizing deadlines and maintaining strong attention to detail.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $54,100 per year.
- Location: San Diego, CA.
- Manage daily client communication and support for active legal matters.
- Prepare legal client correspondence and maintain accurate case documentation.
- Collect case details, update client records, and support ongoing legal team workflows.
- Handle multiple client matters while meeting deadlines and maintaining professionalism.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience, including law office experience.
- Must have legal experience.
- Must have DocuSign experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with client interaction and telephonic support.
- Strong technical skills with willingness to use technology to improve efficiency and team support.
- Ability to work on multiple cases simultaneously, prioritize duties, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to think and act independently while managing multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong spelling, grammar, proofreading, and documentation skills.
- Proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well across the organization.
- Strong work ethic, empathy, sensitivity, and a team-focused approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a fast-paced legal services environment.
- Experience supporting attorneys or legal teams with client communication workflows.
- Familiarity with legal case management systems or digital document tools.
