Job Summary

A well-established Downtown Orlando law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant / Paralegal with litigation experience to join its team on a direct-hire basis. This full-time, 100% in-office role is ideal for a legal professional who wants a stable, long-term opportunity with a supportive firm where they can continue learning, growing, and building their career.

The Legal Assistant / Paralegal will support attorneys handling a variety of litigation matters, including personal injury, civil litigation, insurance defense, and some plaintiff-side work. Key Responsibilities

- Provide legal and administrative support to attorneys throughout the litigation process.
- Assist with case management, file organization, calendaring, deadlines, and document tracking.
- Prepare, edit, and maintain legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and case-related materials.
- Support discovery processes, including organizing documentation and assisting with responses and follow-up.
- Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date case files in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary in the $60,000 range, based on experience.
- Direct hire, full-time position.
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- 100% in-office position in Downtown Orlando, FL.
- 100% medical insurance paid by the firm after 90 days.
- 401(k) offered.
- 17 days of PTO.
- In-person interviews required.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support attorneys with litigation case management, documentation, discovery, and deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain pleadings, correspondence, legal documents, and organized case files.
- Communicate with clients, courts, attorneys, and other parties in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide reliable legal assistant and paralegal support in a full-time, in-office law firm setting.

- 3+ years of litigation experience required.
- Experience supporting plaintiff-side or defense-side litigation matters.
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures, legal documentation, case organization, and deadline management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional legal environment.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and interested in growing with the firm long-term.
- Must be comfortable working 100% in office in Downtown Orlando.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in personal injury, civil litigation, or insurance defense.
- Prior experience supporting multiple attorneys or managing a busy litigation caseload.
- Long-term career interest in a stable law firm environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to contribute positively to a collaborative legal team.
