Legal Assistant – Guardianship Department
Orlando, FL (Onsite)
Salary: $50,000 – $58,000 annually
Downtown Orlando, FL 32801

A full-service AV-rated law firm, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Legal Assistant to join our Guardianship Department in our Orlando office. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys supporting both attorneys and clients through sensitive matters.

Candidates with guardianship experience are highly preferred; however, strong legal assistant experience in other practice areas will also be considered.

Responsibilities
Support attorneys and paralegals within the Guardianship Department
Manage calendaring, scheduling, and appointments
Answer and direct client phone calls with professionalism and empathy
Draft correspondence and legal documents
Enter attorney time records into case management software
Link and organize documents and emails within the firm’s universal case management system
Prioritize tasks independently and anticipate attorney needs
Assist clients in potentially high-stress or sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism
Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of legal assistant experience required
Guardianship experience preferred, but not required
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially document formatting
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and support multiple attorneys and paralegals
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Professional demeanor and excellent client service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
