This is a high-impact role supporting all phases of litigation from initial discovery through trial preparation. If you have a deep understanding of Florida civil procedure and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this is your next career move.
What You’ll Do
Litigation Lifecycle: Support attorneys through all phases of complex litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and trial prep.
E-Filing Mastery: Expertly navigate both Federal and State e-filing systems.
Calendar Management: Take the lead on complex calendar management, ensuring all deadlines, hearings, and depositions are strictly tracked.
Case Coordination: Act as a central point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and court clerks to ensure seamless case progression.
What You Bring to the Table
Experience: 5+ years as a Litigation Legal Assistant. (Experience in Complex Commercial Litigation is highly preferred).
Technical Knowledge: A rock-solid grasp of Florida civil procedure and court rules.
Education: An Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies is highly preferred.
Reliability: Ability to work 100% onsite in our modern Water Street office.
Attributes: High attention to detail, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to manage competing priorities with ease.
