Legal Assistant (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay: $28–$32/hour DOE

Our client is seeking a Legal Assistant to support the leadership team with client-facing governance, document management, and compliance operations. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, file, and maintain governance documents, contracts, and statutory forms

Manage and review entity records, agreements, and governance files

Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of regulatory and compliance filings

Maintain version control and organization of digital filing systems

Support due diligence efforts, audits, and internal/external compliance reviews

Assist leadership with administrative and legal support as needed

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal preferred

Paralegal certification is not required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience with document management and compliance-related workflows

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively

Proficiency with digital filing systems and standard office software
