We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Assistant with 3–5 years of experience supporting litigation attorneys in Washington State. This role involves preparing case files, managing deadlines, and ensuring smooth communication between attorneys, clients, and courts. If you thrive in a fast-paced legal environment and have a strong understanding of Washington litigation procedures, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with litigation preparation, including drafting and formatting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
File documents with Washington State courts (both electronic and physical filings).
Manage case calendars, track deadlines, and schedule hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and trial binders.
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Prepare and process correspondence, legal forms, and confidential documents.
Perform accurate data entry into case management systems and maintain billing records.
Support attorneys during trial preparation and provide administrative assistance as needed.


Required Qualifications

3–5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a litigation-focused law firm.
We are open to different law practice backgrounds
Strong knowledge of Washington State court rules and filing procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.


Preferred Skills

Experience with e-filing systems and document management platforms.
Familiarity with billing software and time entry processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
