Legal Administrative Assistant Trainee
Location: Shreveport, LA
Pay: $15–$17/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

About the Role:
Join a busy law office as a Legal Administrative Assistant Trainee. This is a growth opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and ready to learn. You’ll receive mentorship and training to advance into a full Legal Administrative Assistant role.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and edit documents, correspondence, and reports
Provide administrative support including scheduling and managing contact lists
Assist with expense reporting and invoice processing
Help open new client files and maintain accurate records
Prepare client binders and organize documents
Support attorneys and staff with overflow tasks in a team environment


Required Skills & Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative or clerical role
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Professional demeanor and attention to detail
Coachable and eager to learn new processes
