Litigation Legal Assistant – Full-Time (In-Office)
Location: Tallahassee, FL (Confidential Firm)
A well-established and highly respected law firm in Tallahassee is seeking a skilled Litigation Legal Assistant to support a team that includes a former State Supreme Court Justice and other prominent attorneys. This is a high-profile, hands-on position ideal for someone experienced in litigation support and knowledgeable in court procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and stay current on court rules and procedures across various jurisdictions and judges
Prepare and file court documents in compliance with deadlines and formatting requirements
Schedule and coordinate hearings, court reporters, and other legal appointments
Maintain and update case status databases
Handle calendaring and legal deadlines with accuracy
Upload and manage documents for hearings and case management
Requirements:
Proven experience in litigation support within a legal setting
Strong understanding of court rules and legal procedures
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Tech-savvy with experience in legal software and electronic filing systems
Position Details:
Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 annually (Direct Hire)
Work Environment: 100% in-office (no remote work)
