We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join a respected law firm. This is an onsite position that offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and staff in a collaborative, professional environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys, including preparing and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and filings.
Manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate scheduling of meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely manner.
Perform general office duties including filing, scanning, and mail distribution.
Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in a similar administrative role within a law firm.
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and court filing systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work onsite full-time in a fast-paced environment.
