Legal Assistant– Direct Hire (Wilmington, NC)
$45-50K

We are a recruiting and staffing agency assisting a national leader in commercial and multi-family development who is seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join their in-house legal department. This is a full-time, direct hire role offering a collaborative work environment and long-term career potential.

Position Details: Compensation: up to $50K annually
Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours
Location: On-site, Wilmington, NC
Type: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
Review, organize, and maintain legal files, pleadings, and related documents
Prepare contracts, correspondence, reports, and other legal materials
Assist with scheduling, appointments, and meeting coordination for the legal team
Track deadlines and manage calendars to ensure timely follow-up
Support attorneys and internal staff with administrative and legal tasks as needed Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Qualifications:
College degree required
Prior legal experience required, preferably in real estate, corporate, or commercial law Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign, and Adobe software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-based environment
