Legal Assistant – Civil Litigation Defense (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)

Our mid-sized Orlando law firm with a national presence is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join our dynamic trial team. This is an immediate temporary opening with a strong chance of converting to a permanent role.
We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with at least 4 years of civil litigation experience (defense preferred, but plaintiff work will be considered). This role provides critical support to three attorneys and their teams in high-stakes litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:
E-filing in State and/or Federal Court
Preparing and serving pleadings
Maintaining organized electronic files
Coordinating meetings, depositions, court appearances, and travel
Drafting correspondence and legal documents
Assisting with billing and reimbursements
Supporting attorneys in deposition and trial preparation
Preparing exhibits and handling trial logistics
Communicating with clients, witnesses, and vendors
Schedule:
On-site, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
