Job Title: Legal Assistant
Location: Aiken, SC
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $35K-$40K
We’re seeking a highly organized and professional Legal Assistant to support a fast-paced law office. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on detail, enjoys working in a team-oriented environment, and is passionate about legal work.
Key Responsibilities:
-Draft, proofread, and file legal documents and correspondence
-Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate court appearances
-Organize case files and maintain accurate client records
-Communicate with clients, courts, and other legal professionals
-Assist with research, data entry, and case preparation
-Ensure all tasks are handled with strict confidentiality and professionalism
Ideal Candidate:
-Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a law office preferred
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
-Highly detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple deadlines
-Familiarity with legal terminology and processes
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
