Position Title: Legal Administrative Assistant - Direct Hire
Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to provide direct support to our client's attorneys in a fast-paced litigation practice. This role involves a mix of administrative, organizational, and case-related responsibilities, requiring someone who thrives on multitasking and managing deadlines.
Key Duties:
-Coordinate schedules and maintain calendars for attorneys.
-Monitor, track, and record key case dates and court filing deadlines.
-Prepare and organize case materials, including binders and reference files.
-Draft, edit, and assist with filing pleadings and discovery documents.
-Conduct document review and basic legal research as needed.
-Support attorneys with trial preparation, including deposition summaries and exhibit organization.
Skills & Qualifications:
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-Familiarity with electronic research platforms (LexisNexis preferred).
-Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
-High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
-Demonstrated ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
-Comfortable handling competing priorities and working under time-sensitive conditions.
