We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role supports attorneys and legal staff with critical administrative and case management tasks. Initial training will require 5 days/week in office; once trained, the position transitions to a hybrid schedule. Located in San Diego, CA. Salary $70,000
Key Responsibilities:
-Monitor front and back entrances for mail, deliveries, and service of process
-Scan, save, and distribute court documents electronically
-Assist with file management and case storage preparation
-Draft, serve, and mail correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and courts
-Handle case initiation paperwork and update internal case management systems
-Communicate with clients regarding critical deadlines and collect signatures on settlement documents
-Schedule and coordinate court call and remote appearance logistics
-Prepare discovery shells and assist with other legal document templates
-Provide general administrative support and take on additional tasks as experience grows
Requirements:
-Prior experience in a legal setting
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Proficiency with scanning, PDF editing, and legal file organization
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently after training
