Location: Albany, NY | Full-Time | $22–$25/hr | Direct Hire
A respected law firm located in the heart of downtown Albany, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Government Affairs Department. This is a dynamic, full-time opportunity for a highly organized and proactive professional to support a fast-paced team of legal and government affairs professionals.
What You'll Do In this vital role, you’ll provide direct support through a variety of tasks, including:
• Coordinating and communicating with clients and legislative offices
• Managing meeting schedules and setting appointments
• Supporting client lobby days and related logistical planning
• Maintaining databases and assisting with time tracking and billing
• Performing general administrative duties as assigned
What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative professional environment and brings:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms
• The ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
• An associate degree or 2+ years of relevant experience/training
• Prior experience in legislative, lobbying, legal, or membership organization settings is a plus, though not required
Position Details
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Type: Direct hire
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Albany, NY 12207 (In-person)
