We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Leasing Professional to support the processing and coordination of housing program documentation. This role is vital in ensuring timely and accurate handling of Request for Tenancy Approval (RFTA) packets, maintaining communication with clients and landlords, and supporting the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program.

Schedule - Monday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
• Review and Process RFTA Documents: Evaluate incoming Request for Tenancy Approval submissions to ensure all required information is complete. Provide clear documentation to clients and landlords identifying missing items needed for processing.
• Approval/Denial Notices: Issue official communication to clients and landlords regarding approval or denial of proposed rental units for HCV program participation.
• Daily Documentation & Logging: Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all accepted or denied documents, updated daily.
• Perform Tolling: Execute voucher clock stoppage (tolling) within Voyager Software according to DHA procedures.
• Establish Landlord Accounts: Collaborate with the Finance Department to set up landlord accounts as needed.
• Coordination with Internal Staff: Work closely with the Leasing Professional II and/or supervisor regarding client information and HAP contract processing.
• Inspection Packet Submission: Forward completed RFTA packets to the appropriate staff to schedule initial housing inspections.
• Maintain Rental Unit Listings: Keep updated records of available rental units— including accessible units—within DHA’s jurisdiction.
• Other Duties: Perform additional job-related responsibilities as assigned or required.
