Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our property management team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional service to residents while ensuring the smooth operation of property management tasks. The Leasing Consultant will serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, providing support in leasing, resident relations, and property upkeep.


Key Responsibilities:

Property Management:

-Coordinate with maintenance teams to address and resolve resident service requests promptly.

-Assist in managing vendor relationships, including scheduling and overseeing repairs or upgrades.

-Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, renewals, and property documentation. 
-Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations.


Customer Service:

-Build strong relationships with residents by addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

-Serve as a resource for residents, providing information about community policies, amenities, and services.


Administrative Duties:

-Maintain accurate and organized resident files, including lease agreements and correspondence.

-Prepare and distribute notices, newsletters, and other communications to residents.

-Monitor rent payments and assist with delinquency follow-ups as needed.


Qualifications:

-Previous experience in property management, leasing, or a related field preferred.

-Strong customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and relationship building.
-Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

-Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) is a plus.
-Knowledge of housing regulations and fair housing laws is preferred.
