The Leasing Consultant is responsible for attracting and leasing apartment units to prospective residents while providing excellent customer service. This role involves guiding prospects through the leasing process, maintaining property occupancy, and supporting overall property operations.

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist prospective residents, identifying their housing needs and preferences
- Conduct property tours, highlighting features, amenities, and available units
- Explain lease terms, pricing, and policies clearly and accurately
- Process rental applications, verify documentation, and follow up with prospects
- Prepare lease agreements and collect deposits and required fees
- Maintain accurate records of leads, traffic, and leasing activity
- Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Support marketing efforts, including online listings and community outreach
- Assist with resident retention by providing excellent service and addressing concerns
- Coordinate with maintenance and property management teams as needed

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)
- Previous experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to close leases
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office; property management software is a plus)
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is a plus
