Lead Superintendent – Commercial Construction (Ground-Up / Tilt-Up)

Salary Range: $125K-$150K based on experience
Overview:
A growing commercial General Contractor in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee ground-up commercial construction projects, with a strong focus on tilt-up concrete construction. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working in South Florida and be familiar with local inspections, permitting, and trade practices. Current and upcoming projects are located throughout Broward and Miami-Dade, with an active project in Pompano Beach.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
Manage ground-up commercial projects, including tilt-up concrete construction
Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors to maintain schedule and quality
Enforce site safety, OSHA compliance, and company standards
Utilize Procore for daily reports, scheduling, documentation, and communication
Review plans, resolve field issues, and maintain accurate project records
Partner closely with Project Managers and company leadership
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial projects
Demonstrated experience with tilt-up construction
Proven experience working on projects in South Florida
Strong knowledge of local AHJs, inspections, and permitting processes
Proficiency with Procore is required
OSHA certification preferred
Ability to lead multiple trades in a fast-paced environment
