We are looking for an experienced Event Planner for our client based in Redmond who will manage events from concept through post event evaluation. The ideal candidate will have professional experience planning seminars and client events, strong writing skills, and proven ability to manage event budgets. This role involves event strategy, vendor coordination, on site management, and reporting after each event. This role can be hybrid after 90 days with three days in office, two wfh.

About the Role
The Event Planner will plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of direct response events, seminars, and client gatherings. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure each event meets organizational goals. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple events at once.

Key Responsibilities
Event Planning and Strategy
- Plan, organize, and manage all logistics for seminars and client events
- Develop event concepts that support specific goals and KPIs
- Define event objectives, target audience, and core messaging

Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination
- Source, negotiate, and contract with venues, caterers, suppliers, decorators, and speakers
- Maintain clear communication with clients, internal teams, and vendors
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown
- Research vendors and speakers including travel and accommodation needs

Budgeting and Financial Management
- Create and manage event budgets
- Track expenses and maintain accurate financial documentation
- Negotiate cost effective rates when possible

Marketing, Messaging, and Writing
- Work with the marketing team on event promotion including email campaigns and social media
- Ensure consistent branding across signage, collateral, and presentations
- Write copy for event descriptions, communications, and promotional content
- Partner with financial planners on presentations and event expectations

On Site Event Management
- Manage all event day operations including registration, guest check in, speaker coordination, and issue resolution
- Ensure all health and safety requirements are followed
- Lead event helpers and service providers to ensure smooth execution

Post Event Evaluation
- Conduct post event debriefs and create reports that analyze attendance, feedback, budget adherence, and ROI
- Recommend improvements based on event results

Requirements
- 5 or more years of professional event planning or event management experience
- Demonstrated experience with post event evaluations and reporting
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience creating and managing event budgets
- Ability to lift 35 lbs
- Transportation required
- Willing to travel out of town a couple times per month
- Salesforce experience is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is a plus
