Role Overview
HSF is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our collaborative and impact-driven team. This role is hands-on and ideal for engineers who thrive in coding-intensive environments and are excited to contribute to both new feature development and the maintenance of existing platforms.
Engineers will design, develop, test, and implement robust software solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life. This is a unique opportunity to work on meaningful projects in a mission-oriented setting, with the potential to help shape commercial-ready products in the future.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, test, and implement software applications with a focus on hands-on coding
• Maintain and enhance existing platforms, including ticket support and bug resolution
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Participate in design discussions and interdepartmental meetings to drive feature development
Typical Day:
• Understanding requirements and translating them into technical solutions
• Writing and reviewing code
• Participating in team meetings and cross-functional collaboration
• Balancing approximately 80% new feature development / 20% platform support
First 90 Days Contributions:

• Begin contributing to new feature development for key initiatives
• Take ownership of both ongoing support tasks and forward-looking development projects

• Strong foundational knowledge – not just self-taught coding experience
Dealbreakers:
• Must be onsite in El Segundo as required (hybrid policy from 2026)
