Anaheim, CA: Provides support to staff and management working with federal and state examiners during compliance-related examinations.
• Conducts compliance reviews in accordance with established standards and practices as directed.
• Compile documents and provide information for contractors or other third party as requested.
• Develops and maintains a current library of compliance resources and provides informational assistance as requested.
• Monitor apprenticeship programs, ensuring compliance with Federal, State and local agencies regulations, including contractor-specific Section 3 requirements.
• Resolve discrepancies related to CPR submittals,
• Review, audit and verification of certified payroll records, fringe benefit statements, training contributions, and apprenticeship documents to determine compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
• Knowledge and processing of DAS 140 and DAS 142s
• Review and edit if necessary weekly Beneco spreadsheet.
• Create and audit project folders at end of project.
• Process monthly CAC “Training” payments.
• Process monthly Workers Comp. payments working with our Controller.
• Complete and submit Compliance packets for all prevailing wage projects.
• Set up all projects in the Exaktime software.
• Set up all prevailing wage projects in the CE software.
• Assist with the annual Beneco plan audit working with third party CPA.
• Review and update all prevailing wage wages for all public work projects.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience working with Public Works projects and in administration of labor compliance.
• Experience with registered apprenticeship programs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience developing administrative policies and procedures.
• Experience with LCP tracker and eComply
• Ability to present complex information in an understandable manner.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment with people at various levels and of diverse backgrounds.
• PC proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite, particularly excel.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a certified payroll specialist with knowledge in prevailing wage.
• Ability to work on site (this is not a remote position)
• Good understanding of California Labor Code as it pertains to public works projects.
