Job Title: Lab Technician (Quality Control)
Location: Frankfort, KY (113 Great Buffalo Trace, Frankfort, KY 40601)
Pay Rate: $28.00/hour
Duration: 3 Months (Contract)
Schedule: Full-time (shift details to be confirmed)

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support quality control operations by evaluating raw ingredients and finished products to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. This role involves laboratory testing, quality audits, and collaboration with production teams to maintain high standards in product quality and food safety.

Key Responsibilities
Evaluate ingredients and finished products to ensure they meet specifications
Perform quality audits and provide feedback to frontline teams
Participate in and lead problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with OSHA, TTB, and EPA regulations
Maintain accurate documentation of quality and food safety systems
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
Assist in developing, updating, and organizing lab procedures
Support lab organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions
Partner with production teams to drive process improvements
Participate in internal quality and food safety audits

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related technical field
Minimum 1 year of laboratory, QC, or related experience
Strong analytical and technical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
Must be at least 21 years of age

Work Environment
Laboratory setting with standard safety protocols
Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting
Hands-on work with lab equipment and materials
