Lab Technician assists in developing, testing, and manufacturing beauty products (creams, lotions, makeup) by preparing formulations, measuring ingredients, and conducting quality control tests. They ensure product safety/stability, maintain lab equipment, and document findings to meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- QC in process checks during the batch making process
- QC lab tests -pH, Conductivity, Specific Gravity, Viscosity and Physical tests
- Batch release ( Preparing Labels for bulk release, micro ,analytical ,master ,retain as applicable)
- Sending samples for micro and chemical analysis
- Sending Customer samples for approval
- Maintenance of Bulk master and Retain Samples
- Daily and monthly equipment verification/calibration
- Attention to detail , thorough in reviewing and documentation process

•Formulation & Testing: Mixing ingredients, performing stability, compatibility, and safety tests on raw materials and finished goods.
•Quality Control (QC): Ensuring products meet specifications, including color matching and consistency checks.
•Documentation & Safety: Maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and adhering to strict safety protocols (e.g., OSHA).
•Lab Maintenance: Cleaning, calibrating, and troubleshooting equipment like mixers, scales, and spectrometers.
•R&D Support: Assisting chemists with product development and scaling up formulas for production.

Qualifications:
•Education: An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a related science field is typically required.
•Skills: Strong attention to detail, proficiency in data entry, and understanding of chemical handling.
•Experience: 2-5+ years for mid-to-senior positions
